Dark Trüffles is wild fungus that grows underground. It has a very special smell and doesn't taste as pungent as white trüffles; instead it tastes mellow. The dark trüffles grows along the root of broad leafed trees and have it's massive bodies lie underground.

the dark trüffles follows a yearly growing pattern therefore, a trüffle's size does not relate to it's age.

黑松露是一種長於地下的野生食用真菌，氣味十分特殊，口感沒有白松露那麼辛辣，但香味更加醇厚。黑松露多數在闊葉樹的根部著絲生長，散佈於樹底120～150釐米範圍，塊狀主體藏於地下5～40釐米。主要分佈於阿爾卑斯山脈及喜馬拉雅山脈的少數地區。
